A story tells how Thailand was taken under control by the Burmese empire of the 1500s and it regained freedom when Prince Naresuan won a wagered bet on a cock fight. Thailand is a country proud of its culture, including its cuisine and its authentic ingredients. Thai coffee is of very high quality and there are no coffee imports allowed. Only 1% of Thailand’s coffee is used for export, making these coffee beans from the Pho Tub Berk mountain regions rare and so delicious. The area is home to the Hmong Tub Berk village where this coffee is produced by the 35 smallholder farmers. The coffee is processed at the White Stone mill, where is de-pulped and fermented for 36 hours to give the creaminess and dry cocoa notes you will find drinking this nectar.
